Job Description
Working closely with the Center GM, the candidate will be responsible for:
• Planning and implementing the tenancy mix in a retail mall.
• Take part in formulating, developing and implementing marketing strategies.
• Plan, establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships.
• General administration of all lease documentation (contractual notice, collection and refund of security deposits, legal documentation, tenancy schedules and budgets
• Assisting in negotiation with tenants for compensation for early termination as instructed by the Landlords.
• Monitor rental payments to ensure timely settlement by tenants and to initiate necessary action to recover any arrears.
• Negotiate and monitor terms of leases
• Active management of retail leasing through intensive negotiations
• Maintain updated knowledge of the retail sector; Conduct market and competitor analysis.
• Develop strong network and relations with retails and property management groups
• Conduct sales and marketing calls, viewings and presentations.
• Responsible for all aspects of tenant management.
• Other duties as assigned by superiors and management on ad hoc basis.
Requirements
• Diploma / Degree in Business / Real Estate or a related field
• 3 – 5 years’ of retail leasing experience
• Candidates with CEA license are strongly preferred
• Strong communications skills; has the ability to negotiate effectively
• Resourceful, with problem-solving skills, and has the ability to work well with landlord and tenants
