Our Client:

Our client is one of the top leading healthcare manufacturing companies headquartered in Japan. Their Singapore office is looking for Manager - New Business Development.

The Responsibilities:

The Manager - New Business Development is responsible for the formulation and execution of company's new business strategy and mid-term plan, identify new opportunities to unlock business value to our end customers and business partners, and drive business development activities in the Asia Pacific region in liaison with local MDs.

* Formulate and drive mid-to-long term new business strategy focused on our (data) services and solutions for company region including but not limited to Remote Patient Monitoring schemes
* Develop and manage a mid-term (3-year) and yearly P&L and investment plan in line with the mid-term strategy which is reviewed and steered every year based on in-depth analysis of the market and business environment (PEST, 3C, SWOT, Value Chain Analysis, Competitor Analysis)
* Monitor and optimize ongoing strategic data services to our end customers by keeping the pulse of the market and working closely with internal key stakeholders including the core operations team - globally and locally
* Plan development pipeline of new data solutions with the buy-in of the relevant stakeholders (product development, technical development, business partners etc)
* Commercialize and monetize new services in negotiation with potential technological enablers and business partners, setting up the end-to-end business processes and operational policies and protocols to ensure smooth cross-functional operations (software development, sales, finance, supply chain, marketing and regulatory)
* Formulate appropriate performance metrices to track business performance of each commercialization project and phases and report business and management performance on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Pilot new business ideas and revenue models by mobilizing the relevant internal and external stakeholders to run POCs with the intention to scale the business if successful

The Requirements:

* Min. Degree preferably MBA holder
* 7-10 years' experience in new business development and strategy
* In-depth understanding of commercial processes/practices and sales processes
* Strong proficiency in implementing scalable business processes and driving organization-wide process improvement along with change and risk management
* Work experience in managing large-scale, business transformation programs, successful Program Management / Project Management role and have personally supported large multi-country projects including working with distributed teams virtually
* Proven track record of business outcomes arising from service innovation and transformation
* Strong technical / technology / medical background would be an added advantage
