Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a well-reputable Supply Chain organization that provides various services to different industry is looking for a well experience Vertical Market Manager to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Drive strategy including but not limited to road map development & implementation; development of local champions; delivery of relevant workshops & training in whole country; internal and external marketing plan
* Ensure communication and understanding of the strategic plan including objectives
* Work closely with internal local, regional, and global stakeholders to explore and hunt for new business opportunities
* Structure and allocate Key account clients based on vertical market segmentation in complete alignment with the regional sales structure and strategy
* Establish Customer Development Plan to grow the target accounts (i.e. strategies to leverage existing customers into more country opportunities and generate leads for other APAC countries)
* Steer, develop and motivate the country KAMs to sell, maintain and support the assigned clients
* Deploy a strong consultative selling approach to identify supply chain challenges and develop value creating solutions that drive increased scope of engagement and share of wallet for company
* Update country BD teams with target accounts and market knowledge information
* Perform vertical related sales administration (CRM, monthly report, newsletter activities) for country, regional or global stakeholders
* Support internal parties to develop best possible solutions for the customers

The Requirements:

* At least 5 years' experience in developing and operating in Market
* Strong sales or business development background in Logistics, Freight Forwarding or Warehousing
* Tender processes management experience
* Excellent sales, presentation and negotiation skills, consultative selling, customer psychology and purchasing patterns
* Strong confidence and competencies in building executive level relationships
* Fluent in both verbal and written English in order to liaise with English-speaking stakeholders
* Basic sales techniques and negotiation skills
* Presentation techniques, comfortable with meeting and presenting to groups 2-3 people
* Knowledge of company goals and strategies
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly proficient in computer skills and common applications (Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
