Job Description

Our Client:

RGF is representing one of the established multinational companies in the Renewable Energy Industry. Currently they are looking for a Financial Controller who will oversee the Group Finance Team, involved in analyzing business metrics as well as supporting business strategic decisions with various stakeholders.

The Responsibilities:

* Oversee the accounting functions, including maintenance of financial records, review of monthly financial statements and cashflow planning.
* Manage Finance Teams from multiple geographies and manage Controllership responsibilities for International Business.
* Supports the business unit leadership and Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) in preparing monthly and annual reports to forecast financial performance and report variances.
* Define performance business metrics & provide insightful analyses of results.
* Manage and comply with the respective government reporting requirements and tax filings.
* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and to ensure compliance with corporate governance and risk management.
* Support the GCFO on identifying and analyzing key strategic finance decisions relating to transformation and change management.
* Support Group Finance Team on strategic decisions impacting business performance, align and implement finance process for effective operations
* Assist in other ad hoc matters such as notarization and legalization of documents and processing payments to service providers

The Requirements:

* Minimum Finance/Accounting Degree with CA/CPA qualification will be preferred
* At least 7-8 years of regional controllership experience with mid to large MNCs and experience working in audit firms
* Technically strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is necessary
* Proven leadership capabilities in managing remote teams and developing talent pipeline for succession planning
* Strong project management skills with experience in transformation and change management projects
* Excellent communicator with good business partnering skills with stakeholders across all levels
* Ability to thrive well in a fast paced and complex environment
* Experience with SAP/Hyperion, Oracle Net Suite or other ERP systems will be a plus
