Job Description

Our Client:

RGF represents one of the largest commercial banks in Taiwan. They are actively looking to hire an AML Officer for their Corporate Banking.

The Responsibilities:

* Perform review and approval of high risk Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (Client Due Diligence) onboarding and periodic reviews
* Conduct compliance reviews and transaction monitoring work on all Anti Money Laundering (AML) related matters
* Review suspicious transaction reports (STR) and lodge the reports with STRO where necessary. Provide KYC/ AML related advisory to various business units (i.e. Corporate Banking, Treasury and Private Banking) and other stakeholders
* Prepare AML/CFT monthly report, Compliance meeting minutes and half annual reporting.
* Assist to update policies and procedures relating to AML related matters; perform gap analysis for AML/CFT policy and CDD risk methodology
* Support the Head of Compliance in providing AML reports and/or dashboards to Senior Management and Business Units
* Provide regular AML trainings to the Branch's staff
* Assist in AML/CFT Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA)/IRA projects
* Follow up on Injunction, court order letters (and any other documents with an AML component), conduct AML related investigations and provide response to the relevant parties, where necessary
* Other duties as assigned by the Head of Compliance

The Requirements:

* Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business, or relevant professional qualification in financial services
* Minimum 5 years' experience within the Banking industry, of which a minimum of 3 years in AML Compliance role
* Well-versed in MAS AML/CFT notices and regulations
* Independent and works with minimum supervision
* Good analytical, process management, and implementation skills
* Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese to liaise with native Mandarin-speaking headquarter counterparts
