Job Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidature will spearhead process improvement initiatives which include cycle time reduction, material efficiency improvements and product consistency. The candidature will also work closely with the Quality, Operations, Technical and also Global Process Engineering teams to trouble shoot customer and process impediments and support expansion projects regionally. Additionally, he/she will have work with the HSE function in areas of Process Safety Management.
Requirements
Ideally you should possess a Degree in Chemical Engineering with minimally 5 years of progressive process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, in a Chemical plant preferred. You must have experience in resins and reactor processes, as well as sizing and selecting equipment and utilities and have intimate understanding of engineering computations to support this. Experience with Process Safety Management is required.
