Our Client:

An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a renowned and established US manufacturer in the semicon industry. Financially stable, they have achieved strong growth in recent years and is currently looking to hire a new headcount - Senior Payroll Specialist (Regional) to be part of the HR team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

This role is an individual contributor where you are part of a HR team, working with another HR Executive in Payroll matters. This is an additional head count and will report to the Senior HR Manager and covers head count of approximately 450 employees across Singapore, Vietnam, Philipines, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan and China.

Primarily, you will handle full spectrum of payroll processing and related matters.

Payroll System: SAP

* Responsible for Payroll calculation, consolidation, submission with high accuracy and timely manner
* Check and process monthly approved attendance records to ensure all approved OT related payments are in accordance with company policy
* Process and ensure all claims and deductions are in accordance with company policy and supported by proper authorization
* Input and maintenance of employees' data in Time Management System
* Serve as a resource to employees regarding any payroll related policies, practices and/or procedures.
* Front audit relating to Payroll.
* Prepare accrual activities such as Overtime, leave provision, etc.
* Complete Quarterly/Yearly Statistics and Survey Submission from Government such as Ministry of Manpower, EDB, WDA etc.
* Manage the bi-annual leave audit exercise to ensure compliance with company policy.

The Requirements:

An ideal talent would be someone who:

* Possesses strong foundation of payroll in a manufacturing companies with hands-on regional payroll experience
* Strong hands-on knowledge in HR related systems like SAP, Time Management System etc will be an advantage
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, keen eye for details, especially payroll accuracy
* Good knowledge of local CPF/Income Tax regulations and Employment Act
* High integrity for confidentiality of personnel information
* Able to work independently and to contribute as a team
* Complex problem solving, systems analysis and trouble-shooting skills
